Fasarea LLC acquires A-1 Distributing

A-1 DISTRIBUTING ACQUIRED BY FASAREA, LLC
Deal to Strengthen A-1’s Reach in the Rocky Mountain Region

December 30, 2016 (SALT LAKE CITY) — Specialty automotive aftermarket distributor A-1 Distributing this week announced its acquisition by Fasarea, LLC, a family-owned company based in Utah. The deal will facilitate A-1 Distributing’s continued growth in the Rocky Mountain market, where the company has built important business and community relationships over the past 29 years.

A-1 President Don Albrecht will stay on to ensure the smoothest transition possible before stepping back to travel and spend more time with his family.

“I have called on customers in this area since 1971,” said Albrecht, “and I will be leaving them in the very capable hands of Elden Suppinger, who will serve as general manager of our A-1 Distributing family. I would like to thank our entire team and all of our customers—I would not be who or where I am today without them.”

The new owners plan to continue participating with the Total Truck Centers™ marketing program administered by The AAM Group™, a program-distribution cooperative of which A-1 is a member warehouse.
